World Book Day 2023-2024
Besides the fun of dressing up in costume on World Book Day, children enjoyed taking part in KS2 assembly to celebrate World Book Day. The aim of assembly was to encourage pupils to explore different literacy genres and ultimately develop a passion for reading. Pupils understood that reading also has many benefits, including: Broadens vocabulary, Improve concentration, Heighten empathy, Builds independence, Increases confidence and encourages discussions.
