Over the week, children participated in activities linked to the ‘Change and Adapt’ theme. Have a look at what they got up to below!
Year 1
Children took part in ‘Deep Sea Yoga Discovery’. Children combined physical movement with learning about marine life and their adaptations.
Year 2
Children learnt how different animals are adapted to their environments. They matched animals to their habitats based on their adaptations.
Year 3
Children discussed how animals adapt through camouflage. Children used colours to help animals camouflage in the classroom!
Year 4
Children changed the amount of water in different containers and observed how the sound changed.
Year 5
Children used various types of sugar to investigate whether changing the size of the grains has an impact on the speed they dissolve in water.
Year 6
