Charity Week October 2023

We kicked off charity week this year with a nature theme day. We had some brilliant outfits. Well done to all the children!

Children took part in a 10k sponsored steps challenge this year – we were truly inspired by their efforts.

Children were the beating heart of charity week 2023! They organised some brilliant fundraising activities.

It was amazing to see the parents of Al-Furqan getting into the charity spirit and fundraising for a great cause! huge thank you to Al-Furqan parents and staff who prepared delicious charity brunches, meals and desserts throughout the week!

Al Musafirun performed a fantastic charity nasheed concert for pupils. Verily in the remembrance of Allah swt do hearts find rest. (Quran 13:28)

Our final event for charity week this year was a staff auction! Staff got to bid on cakes and wonderful canvas paintings which had been donated. It was a tight race with lots of bidding! Thank you to all for participating.

We are delighted to announce that this year Al-Furqan made a record breaking £29,947.25 for the orphans and needy! The charity week international total is £2.7 million and as promised £1million of this will be going to the Palestinians for emergency aid. What an incredible achievement. We hope that pupils have not only developed their skills in becoming humanitarians but that they have also become influential ambassadors of Islam.
