British Science Week
children had an opportunity to learn about 'Time' and carry out some exciting science experiments.
Trip visits
Year 2 had the opportunity to learn about insects in the Botanical Gardens, they listened attentively to the lessons about plants and animals. Children enjoyed learning about different animals at Botanical Gardens. The favourite one was snail Kevin. The lizard was very popular, but not everyone had the courage to touch it.
In ICT, year 2 have been using the laptops to create music. Children have used music chrome to explore and create different types of music through technology. Children have then listened to the work they have created giving feedback about how it made them feel. They then edited ways to improve the music they have created using a variety of IT functions.

Visit to the Butterfly Farm to learn about different life cycles
Yr2 Assembly performance included singing, acting and designing artefacts to retell the story of prophet Yusuf (as)
We have been learning the key skills of peeling, cutting and grating in DT for our topic Preparing Fruits and Vegetables
