Volcanoes!!

By Natasha Khan on Wednesday, January 18, 2017

This week Year 3 have been learning about the famous eruption of Mount Vesuvius and how it destroyed the city of Pompeii! Have a look at the recreation of Vesuvius erupting and think of questions you could ask an eyewitness. For example why did some people still remain in the city even though an eruption had slowly begun?

A Day in Pompeii - Full-length animation

www.zerooneanimation.com A Day in Pompeii, a Melbourne Winter Masterpieces exhibition, was held at Melbourne Museum from 26 June to 25 October 2009.
